It has all happened to us that one day we came home from work, shopping center or different places and we were surprised that our children came up with demonstrating their creativity on the walls. And our room was decorated as a beautiful abstract mural!
Well, happily, there are homemade solutions that help remove crayon stains from the walls. Although they are very effective, I recommend that you apply them first on a bit of the affected area, as some paints are more resistant than others and if we are not careful when trying to remove the stain, we can make the situation worse.
How to prevent your child from doing the same again? Ask your little one to help you clean while you explain why you should not do it again:
Try any of these homemade recipes:
Gently rub some toothpaste over the stain. Leave it on for a few minutes and remove it with a damp cloth.
Mix baking soda with a little water to form a paste. Then, with the help of a sponge, gently rub it on the stain. Let it act for a few minutes and then remove it with a damp cloth.
Put some shaving cream on the stain. Then, with the help of a sponge, spread it with circular movements. Finally, remove it with a clean cloth.
Gently rub the stain with a cloth moistened with alcohol.
Moisten a toothbrush that you no longer use in a little vinegar and rub the stain until it disappears.
We hope we have helped you! Don’t forget to tell us what trick you chose on Instagram.
